The Rifkin, named after the American economist known for his work on the 3rd Industrial Revolution, was inaugurated in the presence of Maryse Joissains, Mayor of Aix-en-Provence and Roger Pellenc, President of the Arbois Technopôle on October 10, 2019. Like all ARTEA buildings, the 3290 m² building has a roof covered with photovoltaic panels, which allows it to reduce its energy consumption.
Five-storey high, the Rifkin is an extension of the Cleantech nursery and hosts the "Hôtel d'entreprise" on the 2nd floor, which houses young Star-ups. They thus benefit from equipped offices and shared spaces in an eco-efficient building.
