In the immediate vicinity of the heart of Rouen, in a renowned residential area, the Parc Jouvenet was an old abandoned mansion. ARTEA's challenge was to turn it into an exceptional programme combining contemporary architecture and tradition.
The mansion has been completely renovated, taking care to reproduce the identical facade, roof and exterior joinery. On both sides, two new bodies of new housing with contemporary architecture enhance this beautiful mansion.
The neat terracotta-covered facades are highlighted by the play of balconies, loggias and locks that allow the whole to blend elegantly into the neighbourhood.
The apartments of great standing benefit from the calm of the planted gardens decorated with ponds.
