Thanks to its forward thinking, ARTEA won the competition launched by the city of Lille to transform the former "Usine Elévatoire" into a place of meeting, culture and life where one can work and stay.
Thereby, the ARTEA Group will give the old factory a new lease of life, by establishing a place of sharing, well-being, learning, while highlighting a priceless historical heritage.
Soon in the "Usine Elévatoire " we'll be able to work , see a exhibit, have a brunch, a meal, a drink or stay the night, meeting friends and live an experience in an inspiring place.
We are going to propose an open concept based on the symbiosis between coworking with our COWORKOFFICE offer, coliving with COLOFT, catering and events.
In order to allow our project to integrate smoothly in its environment, we are implementing a participatory approach, by consulting the inhabitants, the Maison de quartier and the associations in place.
In this dynamic, the beneficiaries of the allotments of the Parc de la Poterne will also be involved in the life of the site which will be open to them and will propose permaculture and urban gardening activities.
The project proposes solutions aimed at facilitating trade and the well-being by the way of several facilities and services offered in this sense:
Animations will be organized around permaculture in connection with the allotments.
Events will punctuate the life of the site throughout the year. the year when conviviality and well-being will be the key words of this place. open, true laboratory of the city of tomorrow.
This is a main concern for all the projects developed by our group, so we would like to offer multiple solutions in order to make the site flow better.
Beyond the programmatic aspect, and based on its experience in green buildings, ARTEA will strive to integrate all the innovative construction technologies in the context of the site's renovation.
